Professional Photo Shoot

We had a friend of mine who is a professional photographer take pictures of Evelyn and some of our TN family.  Here are a few picture samples.  The pics were taken on November 6th, when she was a little over two weeks old.  You can click on the last photo to see the full set.

Evelyn is named after Christopher's grandmother Evelyn Holm Johnson, and the ring in her pocket is my engagement ring.  It has the diamond given to Grandma Johnson from Bumpa (Ken), and also the diamond that belonged to Grandma's mother, Olga Holm.  It is so cute the way Evelyn is touching it in this picture. It will be given to her when she is older. :)

Just like Evelyn is two weeks old, I'm two weeks past giving birth.  It caused me to be a little camera shy, but we still got some great photos.

Although I am pumping breastmilk, the full experience of breastfeeding never really caught on.  The silver lining is that Christopher gets to spend time feeding Evelyn.

Here is Gene playing a lullaby that he wrote called "I Wish for You".  It was recorded by Barbara Bailey Hutchison and is on her grammy winning CD.  When Gene plays for her, we all get tears in our eyes.  It is so sweet.
